  The Club Tire Claw XL Wheel Lock with Lug Nut Protector Plate # WI491-491LNP does not have the hole drilled and tapped because it is a universal fit. If the plate were already mounted in place it would limit the fit on certain tires. The plate is not required to be screwed into position in most cases as the location of the claw and the plate on the tire would prevent removing it or repositioning it.   The best solution we have is going to actually be a wheel lock since we don't have a lock setup that is recommended for an auto-locking Fulton coupler. For that I would recommend the # WI491-491LNP.   You will not have to do any drilling on your 2001 Ford Taurus to use the Club Tire Claw XL, # WI491-491LNP. The drilling mentioned is to attach that triangle-shaped plate to the claw arm. Otherwise without the plate, you would basically have Tire Claw, # WI491. In either case they clamp around the tire. The one with the plate protects the lug nuts.   Based on your style of gooseneck coupler the only effective lock style I can recommend for you would be a wheel lock. For that I would recommend the # WI491-491LNP. This covers the lug nuts as well as locks the wheel so not only will the wheel be prevented from turning a thief wouldn't be able to remove the wheel either.
